ReadySeal Spill Cleanup Help Needed
I had a 5 gal bucket that split and leaked onto the conrete floor. I soaked up the bulk using old towels and rags then wiped the area down with mineral spirits. But, the area is still very oily would oil dri or cat litter help? Any other suggestions?
Thanks -Kevin |

Also Dawn dish washing liquid will remove the residue. Just pour some on rub it in let it set for a day or so and it should break down the oil just fine.

Brian missed a sales op here. Just mix up a small batch of his Timber Strip, let it dwell for a few minutes and pressure wash it off.
The easy off is the same principle but if you already have stripper no sense spending extra money for a can of oven cleaner.

I should mention this was in the garage in the corner furthest from the garage door and closest to the living area on the house so a PW would not have been a good option.
I used cat litter and then oven cleaner. The cat litter worked well I let it sit for several hours and oven cleaner removed the last of the oily residue but the floor is still discolored. On some days you can still smell the RS if the temp is right. |
